White Sands Dive Shop
White Sands Dive Shop is a PADI 5 Star Dive Shop in Belize on the Island of Ambergris Caye in the town of San Pedro.
White Sands, the creation of Emeliano Rivero and Elbert Greer, was formed in 2008 when Marylin Juneo, the owner of a local resort hotel on Ambergris Caye in Belize presented them similar letters in which they had proposed their service to her White Sands Cove Resort on Ambergris Caye with a dive operation. She suggested they join together in creating one dive operation in a reciprocating arrangement drawing on the specific expertise of each.
Capitalizing on their joint resources and skills they quickly grew to what is today’s largest and most successful dive operation on Ambergris Caye.
When White Sands Resort Management closed for business in 2009 Mr. Revero and Mr. Greer decide to keep the name White Sands Dive Shop and relocate at Journey End Resort property ,servicing Las Terrazas Resort and Journeys End Resort both owned by the Camden group. That same year White Sands Dive Shop became a PADI 5 Star Resort Dive operation and began branching out to service all the resorts in San Pedro Town and on Ambergris Caye.
Today White Sands Dive Shop has 5 boats, 10 employees and annually certifies more than 300 new divers.
